So, on a very fine weekend, I was happily sitting down in front of my laptop, scrolling through google reader to be updated to what's happening in the world. Suddenly, I realised how ekimura, one of my fave blogge, is always able to take crystal clear picture against very clean white background (it's unfair man. she's pretty, good at art, good at photograph..). The answer doesn't only lies on the bulky awesome DSLR but also light tent or might be called light box.
I was told by a friend that popular does sell light box, but you know, stuff related to photography might be quite pricey, so i decided, i should just DIY my very own light tent.
So, all i need was 5 sheets of A4 paper (can be any other size. just make sure all the 5 papers are of the same size. I suppose mahjong paper would make an awesome huge light tent XD) and scotch tape, scissors, and ruler.
LET's DO IT BIBEEH!! (yeah, u can try this one @ home XD)
*<MIGHTY LIGHT TENT IN ACTION>*
explanation :
1. cut one paper and make it a square by using ruler or *see on picture to figure out how i do it, if you haven't known yet*
2. make a rectangular box out of it by pasting them together using scotch tape * leaving one side not covered.
3. TADAAA WE'RE DONE!! not so hard for a diy thing. *i'm the most impatient person in the world so if i can, you too can do this.
*notice that the lamp i am using is using yellow light bulb? but with light tent, it will not be so yellowy!~ no more harsh shadow!!
---TAKEN USING LIGHT TENT---
---TAKEN WITHOUT LIGHT TENT---
TIPS ; if your light box seems as if it's going to collapse any time, you may want to use chopstick to give it some support.
Okay, although that didn't entirely sound like a beauty-related post, i thought it might help other blogger out there or anyone who loves taking picture of their small things.
HAPPY TRYING :)
